It is red, well actually, it is pinkish because it is so old that the red has faded. It doesn't really matter, it is pinkish-red and soft. It keeps me warm and I don't have to worry if I spill anything on it because it is so old that everything on the planet has landed on it. Sometimes I talk to it as if it can talk back.
